The ivy sculptures and furnishings come in a range of finishes dependent on the location of the finished piece. For outdoor use the ivy is coated with anti-fungal and ultra violet light protective coats of varnish. Indoor pieces of white ivy can be highly sanded but left untreated with oils or varnish. Spalted work is usually oiled and for outdoor use will be finished with coats of varnish.
