Cladfix
Cladfix are a Northwest cladding company offering a specialist fix only service for Blue Chip building contracts.
They were looking for a logo design that wasn’t over complicated and could incorporate some images of corrugated sheeting and fixing screws.
I designed a set of 4 logo proofs taking on board the customers’ requests, therefore most of the proofs contained the images requested.
After receiving their first set of logo proofs, our client decided they liked a combination of 2 designs. This included the cladding as shown in the final design and fixing screws, which were later excluded from the final design.
I continued working on the design until the client was happy and after some minor tweaking they were completely satisfied with their final logo choice.
Once I had their logo design finalised, I went on to design their stationery package incorporating their new logo.

My company Written Proof is based in Christchurch in Dorset and provides Proofreading, Editing and Writing Services to businesses and individuals. We’d tried without success to save money and design our own logo, but even using clipart, we never managed to get the right combination of graphic, colour and text. Also the time wasted trying to produce a design wasn’t making the best use of our resources, so we decided that we needed some professional help.

The design brief was relatively simple. As a start up company, we wanted a strong image with impact to grab our prospective customers’ attention, and it was crucial to the success of our business to present an established image and feel.
